Project management
Managing your own building project can be a daunting and stressful task, especially if one has never embarked upon it before. In addition to time, it can be a tiring and wearing process, with costly mistakes a common issue. At St James Residential, we take onboard the responsibility for the entire process and manage the project from start to finish. We plan the stages, ensure the correct materials are delivered on time and ensure that you as the client,,have one point of contact, throughout the process. We take the burden off your shoulders and ensure the project is stress free, allowing you the time and opportunity to focus on the minor (yet important!) details such as the colour of paint you would like on your walls! We take care of the rest!
Planning application
The planning application process need not be a complicated nor stressful one. We work with only the best and our specialist conservation architect is well versed in researching, preparing and representing our client throughout the process, whether it is a straightforward extension or a listed or heritage building consent . A planning application is always required whenever there is a need to make external modifications to a building, or change the use of a property or land. The local planning department within the council is responsible for deciding whether a development is able to proceed, however we work with our clients throughout the process. Should you have your own architect, we will ensure we work closely with them as one team, dedicated to making your project or build a reality.
